The customer’s specific needs included an HPU, remote control panel, instrumentation, and power & communication cables. After reviewing the details of the application with the customer, CFI, StoneWall, and Braeden [designed](https://eng-pes.com/blog/how-to-cut-cnc-machining-costs-a-design-engineer-perspective), [manufactured](https://www.rotatingsolutionsinc.com/news/how-the-cloud-is-changing-oilfield-manufacturing), and delivered a MPD choke control HPU custom built to the application’s requirements. ![DNV, CE, ATEX](https://eng-pes.com/hs-fs/hubfs/Imported_Blog_Media/img-34.jpg?width=473&name=img-34.jpg "DNV, CE, ATEX") **Certifications:** As this HPU was designed for use in offshore managed pressure drilling applications, it required a number of special certifications in order to be approved for offshore use. Chief among these requirements were the DNVGL OS-E101 and ATEX certifications indicating that proper components and electrical systems were used in the manufacture of the HPU and controls.
